Missing you

Brigade of Light Closing at Georgetown

It is with great sadness that I need to let you know that due decreased attendance and financial support The Brigade of Light will be closing it’s doors at Georgetown Square effective November 30, 2017.

We are discussing our future and will let you know what we decide. If you have anything that you would as a memento of our time at this location, please contact me at (001)260-710-1494 to make arrangements to pick the item up. We appreciate all your support though out our many years together and know that we are all connected by our loving and Holy Spirit. God’s blessings to you all!

Love and bessings,
Rev. Conra K. Faor

Cameron Michael Faor’s obituary

Cameron Michael Faor, 23, passed away peacefully Saturday November 11, 2017 at his home in Fort Wayne. Cameron worked as a welder with APR Allen Plastics Repair and had a passion for cutting hair. A beloved son and friend, he will be remembered by his beautiful eyes and smile. The way he could light up any room just by walking into it. Wherever he was, he was always making you laugh. He loved shoes, hats, his swag, clean line ups, and music but loved his mother more. In the short time we got to have him, he touched the lives of so many and lived an extraordinary, full life. We will miss him and walk through unbelievable grief, but I think he would be right here saying, “Tighten up, don’t worry about me.” Surviving are his mother Kristoria D. Faor, father Travis J. Ort (Emily J. Everett-Stepmom), grandmothers Conra K. Faor, Pamela S. Wagner, girlfriend Brooke J. Wendel. Honorary parents Katie (Katherine) and Troy Kobryn, honorary brothers Alex (LA) Voirol Jr., Stefen Lee Kobryn, Noah M. Kobryn. Aunt Christina S. Ort, uncles Jason T. Faor, Pete V. Ort, cousins Brandon M. Faor, Stephanie K. Faor (Victor L. Bultemeier), Joshua P. Faor, Sierra C. Hamilton, Deven S. Hamilton, Lillee L. Ort. The Edgewater Boyz and countless other friends.

Service is 1:30 pm Saturday November 18, 2017 at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue with calling one hour prior. Calling is also Friday November 17, 2017 from 2 – 4 & 6- 8 pm at the funeral home.

‘Dia de los Muertos’

A beautiful celebration of remembering. The Day of the Dead reminds us to embrace the wonderful memories of our loved ones who are not with us any more but whom we can connect with in spirit, particularly, during this fun-filled and light-hearted event.

The celebration of Dia de los Muertos asks us to remember that in spirit we are all connected and that no soul is lost in God’s realm. The loss of a loved one pains us, nevertheless, we must remember that our journey does not stop at our departure from the physical world. Our spirit travels on and we can reconnect with and celebrate the freedom of the spirit who is not binded by the limitations of life in the physical any more.
